SolidWorks' Subscription and Mastercam's Maintenance programs helps your company maximize your investment in SolidWorks and Mastercam and get the most out of your software
As a SolidWorks Subscription and Mastercam Maintenance member your organization receives upgrades and updates, technical support from MLC CAD Systems, and access to a wide variety of resources.
Software upgrades and enhancements. Get automatic upgrades to the most current versions of Mastercam, SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation, SolidWorks PDM, 3DVia Compser and other software, including new releases and service packs. Our vendors are continually improving their software and respond quickly to issues reported by customers. In addition SolidWorks' Subscription and Mastercam's Maintenance programs entitle you to regular emails, newsletters and other correspondence to keep you on top of important news, service requests, and the latest software updates.
Technical support services. SolidWorks' Subscription and Mastercam's Maintenance programs provide you with live technical support provided by MLC CAD Systems. Customer support services include telephone assistance with installation, setup and configuration, program issues and troubleshooting. For an additional fee, MLC CAD Systems can provide you with a variety of additional value-added services including training, consulting, installation, customization and other services.
Knowledge Base. Search a comprehensive library of documents, including Technical Articles, Help Topics, Tech Tips, Tech Alerts, Macros, and Best Practices, provided by SolidWorks.
Enhancement requests. Your SolidWorks Subscription or Mastercam Maintenance membership entitles you to make enhancement requests, so you can directly influence the future development of Mastercam, SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation, SolidWorks PDM, 3DVia Composer and other products. Many of the enhancements introduced with the release of each new version are offered by customers who have previously requested enhancements. You can even provide input on the functionality required for your specific use of the product.

As we progress towards the pre-teens (2011-2012) and the teens (2013-2019) many new communication media/methods/mechanisms are available to all of us for gaining technical expertise, improving our product knowledge and expanding our capabilities. No longer are we limited to only one or two methods of learning or problem-solving.
The typical Customer Service approach of the last three decades has been to have Technical Support Engineers and Technicians answer incoming phone calls, or e-mails. This approach worked well as long as you were able to connect directly to a Technical Support person and as long as sample files and/or specific installation information weren't needed to resolve the question/issue. |
